Disney Raidou (Hercules as ref because Gouto is Phil, okay? shut up.)

It's vaugely distressing that the one and only time I've ever drawn Adachi I do it in a wankertastic style. I rather like the Yukiko and Chie in the middle though.

Yukiko and Chie have the right kind of face shapes, I think. That and the fact that I secretly love the theory that Yukiko is secretly Misery style crazy.

LOLOLOLOL I'M GLAD YOU LIKE THEM.

I have a secret love for Burtonizing characters. I can't help it - his style is really weird and liquid and creepy. (Have you ever read The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy and other Tales? There are people like Stain Boy, Match Boy and Stick Girl, and people eating their kids because oysters are aphrodisiacs. Also the tale of the result of a woman's unholy love for her household appliance.)

A lot of the stories are very "oh my god what the fuck were you smoking?"
There's a story about a girl who sniffed too much glue. And got a tissue stuck permanently into her nose.

Also in the last story you can kinda see where he got ideas for some of the shots in Big Fish - other than the book of course (which I haven't read orz) it's kind of cool.

LOL THE DISNEYATIONS. Also Angry!Burton!Chie is like, so frightening. But I sort of imagine that's what Chie would look like after an all-nighter in crazy tv land.
